Upcoming Events at EP

Join EP Church Walk and 5K Run for Life Team

We are so pleased to come alongside Wellspring Life Ministry as they serve and empower women to choose life for their families. Join the EP Team as we take part in the 2024 Walk and 5K Run for Life at MAC Church in Gambrills on Saturday, September 21. All ages are welcome. EP is building its own team called the ‘EP Church of Annapolis Life Striders,’ led by co-captains Clif McClain and Anna McVae. Use the button link below to register for the Walk and Run and join the EP Church of Annapolis team. Those who register by September 11 will receive our exclusive EP T-shirt. Anyone who would like to make an online contribution to our team can use the ‘Give’ button found on the team page. We would ask that any check donations would be made out directly to ‘Wellspring Life Ministry’ and placed in the offering plate. If you have questions, contact Laurie Nelson.

Fall Renew Interest Meeting and REFRESH Training

Renew Group Interest Meeting

Monday, September 9 | 7-8pm | EP Chapel

Join us for a Renew Group interest meeting. This meeting is for anyone is who interested in learning more about leading, hosting, or joining a Renew Group. Please use the button below to sign up.

REFRESH

Sunday, September 29 | 5:30-8:30 | EP Church | Dinner Provided

Refresh is a training workshop aimed to equip our small group leaders as they lead groups. This training is for anyone who currently leads (or would like to lead) a Renew Group, EQUIP group, or Bible Study. Children’s and student ministry leaders are also welcome to attend. If you have questions, please contact Cheryl Mullis.

‘Influenced’ Live Digital Safety Workshop for Parents & Teens

Influenced® is coming to Annapolis on September 8th from 4-6 p.m. at Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Annapolis. The parent workshop is ideal for adults with children approaching or within their pre-teen and teenage years. The parent and teen workshops are separate, but held simultaneously. The teen workshop is designed for youth between 6th and 12th grades. Through this workshop, parents and teens will become empowered to participate in our online world and avoid exploitation. Please R.S.V.P. to let us know you will be attending. If you have questions, contact Jonathan Harris.

EP Kids Choir

EP will have its very own kids Christmas choir this fall. Rehearsals will begin September 8 and go once a week until the beginning of December, when all the students’ hard work will culminate in a special Christmas performance. We will rehearse from 12:00-1:30 immediately after worship service on Sundays, learning traditional carols, tunes with a new twist, and what the Bible says about worship. (We might even dip our feet into music theory!) The deadline for registration is September 1st. Register your child at the button below. Email Anna McVae with any questions.

American Heritage Girls Information Meeting

Girls ages 5-18 from EP and the local community are invited to join the American Heritage Girls Troop 1789 for the upcoming school year. Families, girls, and women interested in mentoring the next generation of young women are invited to learn more about our program at our informational meeting on Tuesday, September 10, at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel. Regular troop meetings begin September 17. This year’s theme is ‘VISION,’ and girls will learn about focusing the EYES of the heart (your mind, will, and emotions) on Christ. Contact Daniel Lind at 410-562-9892 for more information.

‘Made for More’ PCA Women’s Conference at EP

On November 15-16, 2024, EP Church is hosting the ‘Made for More’ PCA Regional Conference for women. We can’t wait to open our doors and welcome women from all over our region to join us as we’ll see how God made us for more through our creation design, gospel identity, and inter-generational friendships. Together we’ll explore how satisfaction, significance, and sufficiency can only be found by seeking our Savior. We encourage women and girls (third grade and up) to join us. This conference is for ALL women—young, single, married, and “more seasoned,” as well as your treasured friends. So, gather the women in your circles, plan for a special weekend, and book your seats! For questions, please contact Cheryl Mullis.

Pray First Monthly Prayer

Join us for Pray First the first Sunday of the month, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Chapel as we pray for the Holy Spirit’s transforming work in us and through us as a church. We won’t meet in July, and our next meeting will be on August 4. We will be praying for the congregation, ministries of the church, leadership of the church, and outreach to the world around us. This is a wonderful opportunity to join as a church family and lift our voices to our Lord. Questions about how to participate? Contact Brian and Leigh Miller.

Worship Hour Preschool Helpers

We would love to see everyone (ages 20s-70s) take just two weeks per year to help with the little ones during the 10:30 a.m. worship service. If you are ready to bless our families and be blessed yourself in the process, please view the openings and sign up with the button below or stop by the EP Kids table in the Foyer on Sundays. If you have questions, please contact Bridget Johnson.
