The EP Middle School Ministry is pleased to announce that, beginning in February, it will host a nine-week long Communicants Class. The class runs from February 2-March 30, will take place during the Equip Hour (at 9 a.m. every Sunday), and will be held in Room 156 in the hallway behind the gym/fellowship hall.
In this class, students will be explore what it means to become a member of EP Church and they will work on constructing a personal, public profession of faith. As they work on these principles, they will also get a chance to better know the elders and student ministry leaders who teach the classes. At the end of the nine weeks, students who have made a profession of faith and want to join EP will be interviewed by the Session for membership.
The Middle School Ministry plans to hold this class on a yearly basis to create a regular rhythm for students to join the church. They encourage students to consider this opportunity to grow in their faith and understand what it means to become a communing member.
