Tom’s passion is to help people grow in their love for our Lord. A staff person at EP for over 25 years, he has helped our multigenerational congregation use their gifts for ministry and to get involved in God’s kingdom work. Tom and his wife Mary enjoy spending time with their kids and grandkids. When not at EP, you’ll find Tom outdoors on the bay fishing or at work in the garden.

Since high school, David has had a passion for leading worship music and serving in God’s kingdom. Having started playing piano at the age of nine, he loves the way worship music connects us to God in a personal way, teaches us of His character, and gives praise to our heavenly Father. As a member of the worship team, he hopes to encourage people in their faith and share the good news of what Jesus did on the cross. David is excited for his time here in Annapolis and seeing all the work God is doing in this community.

Jonathan has been actively involved in music ministry for the past seven years, using his guitar and vocal skills for God's glory. He Has worked with EP since fall of 2017 and loves his time leading worship for the youth ministries and playing with the band on Sunday mornings. He has a passion for worship ministry and loves to help people come to a place of worship. Jonathan also loves to spend time getting to know people in the church and connecting people with others so they can walk together in faith. Most of all Jonathan loves Jesus, and he wants to live a lifestyle that reflects his Heavenly Father and helps others come to know Him as well.

Cheryl loves spending time investing in women, hearing their stories, and watching them grow as they learn to follow Jesus. She is passionate about studying and teaching God’s Word and delights in helping others understand how deeply they are loved by God. Married to her husband Don for over 30 years, Cheryl and Don have five wonderful children, one amazing daughter-in-law and two gracious son-in-laws, and six very active grandchildren. Traveling, chatting with friends, and reading a good novel at the ocean are Cheryl’s favorite past times.

Laurie Nelson loves helping people feel loved and welcome, whether on a Sunday morning or in the community. On staff at EP since 2008, she directs EP’s outreach efforts and can’t wait to help connect people to areas of service that they are passionate about. The best part about her job is that it doesn’t feel like a job; each day is different and she loves serving alongside others. She has three children and one grandson, and she loves being a Grammy!

Nancy enjoys meeting and helping the wonderful people of EP connect with ministry, whether through her work administration, or helping with EP's communication needs. A native New Englander, she has slowly worked her way down the East Coast, having lived in New Hampshire, Boston, Connecticut, New York, and now Maryland. She has been married to her husband Clint for 30 years and they have two adult children, Andrew and Hannah. She has served in administrative roles in a variety of contexts, including Christian radio and education. Nancy has a BA in English from Gordon College, and, as a result, loves to fix typos or get lost in a good book.
