Lace up your hiking boots, pull out your backpack, and head out to Upward Bound Vacation Bible School! Join us for our week long Upward Bound VBS camp. Join us July 7 – 11 from 8:45 to 12:00. We will sing, play games, hear from storytellers, make crafts, and enjoy tasty snacks.
What to Expect from Upward Bound: By God’s grace, Upward Bound will lead our children to love and worship Jesus Christ: deepen their knowledge of and love for the Word of God increase their enthusiasm for memorizing Scripture teach them the Gospel and equip them to share it.
Upward Bound tracks Jesus· perilous journey from the Courts of Heaven to the cross and back again, encouraging young Backpackers to make their own life-long upward-bound trek to the Summit by the power of the Holy Spirit through faith in Christ
Registration will open for backpackers and “coaches” (volunteers) in March. Backpackers are students aged 5, by July 7 through those who have completed 5th grade. Classes are formed by the grade which was just completed.
Volunteers are needed as teachers, helpers, drama, snack, music, and substitutes. Childcare is available for children too young to participate in the program. If you have a 4 year old, they are welcome to participate in the full VBS program if you are helping somewhere on the property. Many hands are required to pull together VBS.
