Summer 2025 Renew Groups

One-to-One & Small Group Bible Reading
Rooted in the Word. Growing Together in Christ.
This summer, we’re inviting our whole church to embrace a simple yet powerful practice: reading the Bible together. Across generations and stages of faith, we want to open the Word together and be transformed as the Spirit works in us.

What is it?
One-to-One Reading: Meet regularly with one other person—across generations, or
Small Group Reading: Gather with a group of 3–8 people to read Scripture together and
discuss what God is showing you.
In both settings:
Read Scripture together and talk about what God is showing you.
Let the Word shape your life, your faith, and your relationships.

Why are we doing this?
Because we long to be a church with deep roots—not just people who attend events, but people who invite others into our lives and into a community who seeks to follow Jesus. We’ll provide simple tools, suggested reading plans, and support along the way. Let’s make this a summer marked by the Word of God—read, shared, and treasured—one conversation at a time.

What is a Renew Group?

Renew Groups provide a gospel-renewal experience that encourage and equip us to love God, love people, and love Annapolis. It’s the best place to get connected to other people seeking after Christ, and is a safe place to study Scripture together; grow in your experience of God’s grace; and increase your passion for making disciples beyond the walls of our church.

Hosting Renew has been a great opportunity for us to fellowship with other believers and get to know our church family better. The curriculum is also encouraging and equipping to delve deeper in your faith.

Sarah DriftmierChurch Member

One of the greatest gifts of Renew is that kids from outside of the church came in and we just saw the Lord use this study to grow them deeper in their faith. It was such a great tool to disciple brand new believers.

Megan EricksonAssistant Director of High School Ministry

I’ve just seen God’s joy exuded from the fellowship and all of the different brothers and sisters in Christ to me and to each other. And it’s been a phenomenally encouraging and uplifting experience.

High School Student

It’s been marvelous, and especially for our age group that kind of gets settled in whatever way we get settled. It shakes you up and gets you going again. I was ministered to by people I taught in Sunday school. I have seen a freshness and awakening and interest in each other.

Ruth McClainChurch Member

The level of transparency and sharing and love for one another has been very motivating. The questions in the Renew curriculum are the best questions I have ever seen—deep and thought provoking.
